Raw field latex is processed into crumbs, which are then treated in ovens to produce this light yellow grade of rubber. Lovibond measures the lightness of color: a lower value indicates lighter-colored rubber.

Visually Graded / Sheet Rubber

VGR
Skim Block
This is a by-product of the Latex centrifuging process. This grade of Solid rubber can be used as a filler in products such as shoe soles, rubber bands, car mats, etc. There are no standard technical specifications for this grade, hence, it is categorized under VGR (Visually Graded Rubber).

TPC
These crepes are graded under multiple characteristics, made by passing coagulated latex through mills. These are much lighter in color than their RSS and TSR counterparts. Main consumers include food, pharmaceuticals and infant toy industries.

SHEET RUBBER
ADS XL
Unlike RSS, these sheets are air dried in smoke-free rooms for 2-4 days. These sheets appear similar to RSS, but are translucent and light golden in colour. Tensile properties of ADS XL are different from RSS. Popular applications of ADS XL are for nipples and teats. There are no standard technical specifications for this grade, hence, categorized under VGR (Visually Graded Rubber).
